In older council cemeteries / churchyards where grave surrounds were permitted, often the grave would be concreted and topped with gravel. This reduces the maintenance, but over time the gravel weathers, gathers dust and dirt and weeds can take hold. Due to the man–hours required to clean old gravel, which tends to be a short–lived solution, it is usually as cost–effective to replace the existing gravel with new. This also allows the removal of all dirt and weeds. We can provide Grey Granite Chippings / White Quartz Chippings / Green Glass Chippings. Grey Granite chippings are the most cost–effective option and can often be placed with a sprinkling of white quartz over the top.
