Unfortunately, most of us will be confronted with the task of arranging the funeral of a loved one, which, in the midst of grief, can be a daunting ordeal.

A doctor should be called initially when a death has occurred. At this point you should call S. Clarke & Son 028 9181 2168 where we will be able to provide immediate help guidance and assistance with all necessary arrangements.

Our staff are available to give personal and discrete service at any time of the day or night, at weekends and on public holidays. Once our services are engaged, everything can be left in our care, giving peace of mind to you and dignity to the deceased.

Our Premises

Our offices and Funeral Church are located at 12 Court Square, Newtownards, with an air conditioned funeral church that can seat one hundred and forty mourners. Our four Private Rest Rooms are quiet and peaceful with tasteful furnishings so that the deceased will rest in tranquility until the time of the Funeral Service. This allows privacy and gives visitors an opportunity to spend as much time as they need with their relative or friend. Among the facilities available are a Hammond organ, tape recording equipment and Minister’s Room. A car parking facility is located at the rear of our premises.
